About the Scholarship
The Chevening Scholarship is the UK government’s international awards programme aimed at developing global leaders. Funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organizations, Chevening offers fully funded master’s degree opportunities at leading UK universities. The programme enables outstanding emerging leaders worldwide to pursue a one-year taught master’s degree in any subject, build professional networks, experience UK culture, and develop leadership skills to create positive change in their home countries.
Eligibility Requirements
Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.
Return to your country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after the award ends.
Have completed an undergraduate degree that enables entry into a UK postgraduate program (equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK).
Have at least two years (equivalent to 2,800 hours) of work experience.
Apply to three different eligible UK university courses and receive at least one unconditional offer.
Meet the Chevening English language requirement (if applicable).

Application Process
Submit an online application through the Chevening application portal.
Choose three different eligible master’s courses at UK universities.
Upload all required documents before the deadline.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview at the UK Embassy/High Commission.
Successful candidates will receive conditional/unconditional offers.

Two recommendation letters.
Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Passport/national ID.
Unconditional offer from at least one UK university (by July 2026).
English language test results (if required by the university).
