Harvard Carr-Ryan Center Fellowship 2026-2027

• Open globally to post-doctoral scholars, academics, human rights defenders, senior leaders in international or human rights organizations, and leaders with demonstrated commitment to advancing human rights policy. • Applicants should be engaged in research or practice aligned with the Carr-Ryan Center’s mission to support human rights inquiry and collaboration. • Both emerging and established leaders/practitioners are eligible.

• One academic year affiliation with the Carr-Ryan Center for Human Rights at Harvard Kennedy School. • Access to intellectual community including faculty, fellow cohort members, and Harvard resources. • Opportunities to audit classes, participate in seminars, study groups, and public research events. • Ability to advance research or policy work in human rights and related areas. • For certain fellowship tracks (e.g., Racial Justice Fellowship), a stipend may be provided (e.g., USD 10,000 for the academic year).
