ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) 2026–2027 – Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand)

• Must be a citizen of an ADB borrowing member country. • Must have a Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record. • Must have at least two years of full-time professional work experience after graduation. • Must be proficient in oral and written English. • Must be under 35 years old at the time of application (exceptions up to 45 for senior professionals). • Must be in good health. • Must agree to return to the home country after studies. • Applicants must not already be enrolled in a graduate programme. • Staff of ADB or AIT are not eligible.

• Full tuition fees paid • Housing or housing allowance • Monthly subsistence (living) allowance • Medical and accident insurance • Annual book allowance • Economy class air travel to/from home country • Miscellaneous travel allowances including visa fees and airport taxes • Excess luggage allowance (up to 20 kg) • Thesis/research allowance • Support for language or computer training if needed

• Academic transcripts and degree certificates • Proof of Bachelor’s degree • Work experience certificate(s) • Income statements (individual and/or family) • English proficiency evidence (IELTS, TOEFL or equivalent) • ADB-JSP Information Sheet

1. Apply for admission to a Master’s programme at AIT and indicate clearly that you are applying for the ADB-JSP Scholarship. 2. Complete and submit the AIT application form along with the ADB-JSP Information Sheet and all required documentation. 3. Submit academic transcripts, degree certificates, proof of work experience, income statements, and English proficiency evidence. 4. AIT screens applicants and submits a ranked list to ADB for final approval. 5. Successful candidates are notified and arrangements are made to sign the scholarship award agreement.
